Thirteen Reasons Why, is one of those books that discusses, suicide, depression and the effects words can have on someone. The story is told by Clay, who receives a strange package in the mail. This package changes his life, as they contain the tapes of his classmate Hannah, who has taken her own life.

In the tapes she explains 13 reasons why, she eventually took her own life. Clay, is one of the reasons. He now has to figure out how he feels about Hannah, what he could have done and how to deal with the grief, guilt and sadness.

Irene's notes: A book that has been on my wish list for years. The book has gained a lot of success over the years, and now it has its very own Netflix show. I am still a little scared to read it, as I think it will leave me sobbing.
